Moth

Description:

Smallish moth. The wings are mottled chocolate in colour. An inverted cream triangle with broader base just behind the head and thinner part going down the dorsal midline. A wavy transverse band is present just above where the wings end. Wings are trimmed in cream colour.

Habitat:

Suntaley Khola is a remote hilly and forested area by the River Murty in the Dooars region of West Bengal, India.This species was drawn to the porch light.
