Hylaeus nubilosus

Description:

About 11 mm long, this black bee had yellow marks on the thorax and legs. The scutellum was also a bright yellow. Barely visible in pic 1 is the bright yellow patches on the face which gives these family of bees the common name of "masked bee".

Habitat:

Spotted feeding on Tea-tree flowers in a reservoir park
