Diolcus chrysorrhoeus
It looked quite bland on first glance, but in the right light it shone metallic green. It also had one black spot on each side of its body. chrysorrhoeus = 'oozing gold'

This is one of the Shield-backed Bugs (Scutelleridae). It may be Diolcus chrysorrhoeus, but several of the bugs in this family are marked with those prominent spots on the sides of the scutellum.
