Description:

Small beetle found only on milkweed plants.

Habitat:

Found in damp, open field below a dam at Quail Lake Park. Vegetation highly diverse with grasses, teasel, various wildflowers, cottonwood trees....

Notes:

This is a less common, smaller species than the other milkweed longhorned beetle found here on the Front Range.
