Description:

Medium-sized to small, cone-headed grasshopper with bold linear markings and blue hind tibiae ("shins").

Habitat:

Found in an open field with a variety of grasses and herbs, near a riparian corridor.

Notes:

This species favors bunchgrass habitats.
