Four-Lined Ameiva, Four-Lined Whiptail

Holcosus quadrilineatus

Description:

Green and light brown striped skink wit a red / orange head. About 20cm in length.

Habitat:

In garden at the foot of the Quill Volcano, near the Caribbean Sea, Sint Eustatius.

Notes:

This little fella was hard to take pictures of. It prefered to stay in the shade.

You're welcome Muckpuk, I'm often not 100% sure, but if you browse through the spottings at inaturalist of this species you will see some individuals with bright red head, that made me quite sure it's this species ;)
