Mimus polyglottos
This bird was in a bush and then peeped out as I came up. Finally, it hopped up on top of the bush so I could take a few photos. It seemed to watch me intently before flying off. As a fellow photographer commented at the reserve, "if only the red-headed woodpeckers would be as cooperative as the mockingbirds for photos!"
