Allium sphaerocephalon
Also known as round-headed garlic or Drumstick, this member of Amarillidaceae family carries its flowers in egg-shaped umbel, some 50 to 100 cm in height. Different stages of maturity of umbels are shown in photos 3 to 5.
Widespread across Croatian coast, observed in large numbers in all kinds of terrain - from forest clearings to rocky beaches.
