Looks like a katydid, yellowish-brown with some darker spots, and about 4cm in length.
Seen in an ancient cemetery in hinterland of Dubrovnik, in hills covered by a maquis. Hills are rocky and often steep, and covered by a evergreen shrubs and mixed Mediterranean forests.
