Outline of a bird in snow; Owl perhaps?
Behind out garage in snow; near marsh, woods, compost pile and farm field
When these images were taken we had about a foot + of snow covering the ground and it was fairly "light" weight snow. Now the snow is deeper and has hardened significantly (3 inch deep, hard crust, on top of lighter snow) so I can't image a bird surviving this type of impact today.
