Description:

Metallic moth flew out of a tree after I shook one of the branches. This appears to be the male of the species. (orange spot on abdomen characteristic) The body, head and legs are deep yellow to orange. It is about 25 mm long.

Habitat:

Fynbos to subtropical forest.
