northern crested caracara

Caracara cheriway

I saw atleast 6 of them. The tree photo had four, then I saw two flying.

Like vultures, Crested Caracaras eat a lot of dead carrion and often will scavenge other birds chicks and eggs. The national bird of Mexico is the Crested Caracara an honor shared with the Golden Eagle at times.
