Sparshalli moth

Trichiocercus sparshalli

Description:

A very hairy white caterpillar with bright red stripe along its back. These are processionary caterpillars and will follow eachother in a long line. This one was found singly on Eucalyptus. The moth is a pure white Bombyx type.
