Description:

A tattered Brown Pansy butterfly nectaring on golden dewdrop flowers. Junonia hedonia (Linnaeus, 1764), of family Nymphalidae, is a butterfly found in Southeast Asia, Indonesia, and Australia. Junonia hedonia ida (Cramer, 1775) is the ssp found in the Philippines, except Palawan (ssp hondai occurs in Palawan).

Habitat:

Backyard garden, spotted on Duranta erecta plant.
