Delichon urbicum
Small black and white hirundid, up to 15cm in length, fast and nervous flyer; white below and black or steel-blue above. Rump is also white.
Seen in large numbers, in many villages and their peripheries on Pelješac peninsula, of Dubrovnik riviera. Observed mainly in flight; but we have seen few nests with youngsters like these, almost ready to fly out.
