Description:

Green or brown coloration with black spots and a vertebral light green stripe. Grey ventral region. Medium/big size.

Habitat:

Native to Portugal, Spain and southern France, and has been introduced to the Azores, Madeira, the Canary and Balearic Islands. Temperate forests and shrublands, rivers, swamps, freshwater lakes, sandy shores, arable land, and urban areas.

Notes:

This one was found in a small pond of a city park in Portugal.
