Red Damselfly

Amphicnemis wallacii

Description:

A small red damselfly with a body length of 23.5 mm. Transparent wings, bright red body with green band on it's synthorax.

Habitat:

Flew into our hotel room in Lahad Datu Hotel, Sabah, Malaysia. This species is abundant and occasionally fly into houses. Usually live in lowland swampy forest in North Borneo.
