Brushtailed possum

Trichosurus vulpecula

Description:

Furry prehensile tail which is naked on the underside. They are nocturnal and semi aboreal. Native to Australia. Largest of the possums. This mother has had several babies in her possum box which is in our shed. Seems to like the habitat. This is just one of her babies, they are so cute.

Habitat:

Semi rural area.

They are cute Daniele but I thought Mum was going to knock the baby's head as she went back into the box in the last photo.
