Vivid Dancer

Argia vivida

Notes:

About 2.5 inches in length. There were a lot of these little guys, maybe 4 within a 10 ft square radius. I thought it was a Damselfly but I'm thinking Dragonfly now.

Coenagrionidae/Narrow-winged Damselflies, Argia/Dancers, looks like Agria vivida, the Vivid Dancer. It is actually a Damselfly. Please, verify! These Damselflies are not always easy to ID. You carefully have to look at each spot, band, shape, extension and location of these markings. The differences might be very subtle!
