Unknown boletes

Description:

Clusters of up to 6 very large boletus type fungi with patchy tan colour on the furry, domed cap. Large-pored surface underneath starting very dark tan and leathery as young caps (4). Larger ones had a layer over the stipe which peeled away as they got larger like a leather collar. About 180mm across.

Habitat:

About 5 metres away from small eucalypts in a woodland withe mixed undergrowth.

Notes:

Still searching for these... dark tan collar on stipe is something I haven't seen before.
