Spotting

Description:

Some puffball-like mushrooms I found a while ago.

Habitat:

Grassy field with some trees, similar to a park.

Notes:

My best guess is that they are a young Astraeus or Geastrum. Spore print was brown, inside was solid, and dark brown.

Do they have a big lay of sand in the lower part? It might be a Disciseda, but by the shape and colour it might be a Calvatia fragilis. Im not sure I perhaps need some more pictures.

Also, they were about 2 cm wide when I found them.

I uploaded a few more pics, including one of the specimens I have at home as they are now, they have shrunk but otherwise look pretty much the same.

I work with gasteroid fungi. Would you have any other pics?
