Lesser or Greater Grapevine Looper Moth

Description:

Family: Geometridae, Subfamily: Larentiinae. Eulithis diversilineata or Eulithis gracilineata. Wingspan: 28-30 or 33 mm. Pale orange/tan FW is crossed by fine brown lines. Hosts: Grape and Virginia Creeper.

Habitat:

Woodlands and gardens (Came to light)

Notes:

2nd Eulithis sp. moth found at the same time as the other larger one by the same porch light, but this one hanging out on the window.
