Pleasing Fungus Beetle

Megalodacne fasciata

Description:

Orange and black fungus beetle with distinct pattern. Nocturnal in nature.

Habitat:

Island on the Rock River.

Notes:

There were three of these gorgeous beetles and they were on fungus. Not sure what the identity of the fungus was. I can see why these are called Pleasing Fungus Beetles.
