Tobacco looper moth

Chrysodeixis argentifera

Description:

Actually a semi looper, this moth is quite variable in its spotty patterns. The larvae feed on many plants including beans, tomato brassica and silver beet. Also forget-me-not, which is most of my lawn.

Habitat:

This is the door handle of my shed.

Notes:

I must check the lawn for cats.
