Phalacrocorax auritus
This was a good example of wildlife adapting to the ever-changing landscape. I counted nine nests in total in this transmission line tower. In pic 3 the middle bird had just flown in from the nearby lake to the nest to regurgitate fish for the nestlings.
Spotted at the Ancient Lakes in eastern Washington.

Fantastic spotting Brian! Cormorants are so cool...kinda weird thinking of them hanging onto those towers with their huge webbed feet though...but still, good on them! Thank you for sharing :)
