Gemmed Satyr

Cyllopsis gemma

Wings are brown with slightly darker wavy bands and it lack eyespots. Underside of hindwing has a silvery patch at the outer margin which contains 4 black reflective spots

Near open, wet woodland; grassy areas near water; near streams and ponds.

Spotted from the boardwalk leading to the Visitor's Center at St Marks NWR, Florida. It was about 40 feet out at the base of a pine tree, sitting on a leaf. I don't know how I spotted it from so far away.
