Argiope sp.
When I woke up in the morning this spider had made it's web across my window during the night. Photos 1 to 3 are taken from outside, Photo 4 taken from inside as she was wrapping up her catch, and photos 5 & 6 were taken later that same day.
The hose was in a mountainous rainforest area between San Isidro de la General and Dominical in Costa Rica.
Hmm, had to delete this one from the mission a few times also. Hope I got it now!
How amazing! We have one outside our kitchen window and were commenting on it just this morning, wondering what it was!

Argiope sp., but I cannot tell you if it is Argiope argentata or Argiope savignyi.

I slightly would tend to Argiope argentata, but I am not 100% sure.
