Hemidactylus turcicus
This is small translucent gecko, very common to Adriatic coast, it is also known as Turkish gecko or 'Moon lizard' - the later because they come out in the evening. Its main distinctive feature are the big black and lidless eyes with a vertical pupil.
This species thrives in garrigue, soft-leaved scrub-land of Mediterranean; and favors stony land with some agave plants or houses. Here, seen on a terrace, in a famous "Dingač" vineyard slopes of Pelješac peninsula of Dubrovnik riviera.
