Description:

Rufous head with tawny forehead patch and white leading edge on wing, as opposed to green head with creamy white forehead patch.

Notes:

The Eurasian Widgeon was rare in BC but has recently been seen more often mixed in with flocks of American Widgeon, like this individual. In pics 1 and 2, it is the duck at the bottom right of photo and in last pic it is the one stretching its wings.
