Cup Moth

Description:

Small moth. Brown wings but head and thorax is a contrasting yellow.

Habitat:

Suntaley khola is a remote village in West Bengal, India with the River Moorti flowing by it. There is only one narrow motorable road that ends by the river. There are a few resorts here. The moths are drawn to the porch light and alight on the walls near the light. These can often be seen sitting there the next morning.
