Collared Trogon

Trogon collaris

Description:

A male Collared Trogon perching on a branch. It stayed there for a couple of minutes. I didn't want to move closer because I didn't want to scare it, I wanted to capture the moment more with my senses than with the camera.

Habitat:

Deciduous forest of Calakmul Biosphere Reserve. First spotting in PN from Mexico.

Notes:

This is my spotting No. 5,000. Wow!
