Description:

Both sexes are metallic green with pale grey underparts and darker wings. The female and immature males may look similar. Females have a brown throat and a pale line above the eye.

Habitat:

Spotted in my backyard. Residential yard with large trees and understory that attracts birds.

Notes:

Range along the west coast of North America.
