Bolete mushroom

Boletus sp.

Description:

Two yellow to brown bolete mushrooms, between 2 and 3 cm tall. The caps had cracked surfaces and were between 8 to 12 cm in diameter. Flesh of the caps was off-white with a pinkish hue. The pore surfaces had about the same colour as the caps, but brighter.

Habitat:

Grew on soil and grass near a weeping willow.

Notes:

I didn't cut these fungi to look for coloration of the flesh, so I will not know for certain. But maybe these are Boletus chrysenteron, because of the pinkish hue of the cap flesh. Spotted in rural area of Deventer, Holland.
