The focus is to document the variety of caterpillars and larvae that inhabit Southwestern United States; Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah. This makes up about one forth of the United States. Since Texas is also counted in the Southeastern states; caterpillars in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas are welcome.

For the many known and unknown caterpillars and larvae, please try to provide photos of the top, side, bottom, face or any other unique feature. If photo is not available, please describe what you see, as well as, where you saw it and what it was doing. All these tiny details help in identification and learning. Please put the caterpillar or larvae photo first and if available a photo of the adult last. Chrysalis and pupal photos are welcome.
