Spotted along the "Ebony Trail" at Resaca De La Palma State Park. The tree is likely Texas ebony.

Thanks for commenting, Mark. It was amazing how many different lichen species there was on the bark of this tree.
I would have that on my wall as art. (picture not lichens)
