Green cloverworm moth

Hypena scabra

Description:

BugGuide says the caterpillars feed on the leaves of alfalfa, beans, clover, ragweed, raspberries and strawberries. I have clover, ragweed and raspberry plants in my yard so the offspring will have something to eat. (I had to take two photos to get the front and back of the moth in focus as I only had my large lens available in a small space.)

Habitat:

My yard (semi-urban).
