Description:

Small moth, about 5mm in body length, and 1cm wingspan. Wings have beautiful moss-coloured design. Metoeca is a genus of moths of the Crambidae family. It contains only one species Metoeca foedalis (Guenée, 1854), which has a wide distribution, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, South Africa, China, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Australia (Queensland). Spotted in the garage of the house.
