Common in eastern Australia. This one found along the trail in the Blue Mtns between the Grand Staircase and the Golden Staircase, near Katoomba, NSW. Rainforest.

Wonder where it gets it's name...
Yes it is interesting that even though they are supposed to be very common there, we only saw one in our 3 weeks of travel!
Amazing!!Must be thrilling to see something like this in person!
