Red triangle on the back of this slug is diagnostic. Rest of slug can vary from beige to green or yellow or? Land slug, mollusc

Habitat:

Common in eastern Australia. This one found along the trail in the Blue Mtns between the Grand Staircase and the Golden Staircase, near Katoomba, NSW. Rainforest.

Yes it is interesting that even though they are supposed to be very common there, we only saw one in our 3 weeks of travel!
