Leopard Lacewing Caterpillar

Description:

Yellow and red caterpillar, about 10 cm long with HUGE spikes. It looked like it was about to burst out of its tight skin.

Habitat:

Our garden Phuket, Thailand, near Rubbertree's and Jungle.

Notes:

Fantastic looking caterpillar. In 5.5 years of living in that house, this is the only one I saw.

Some Longwing butterflies have such type caterpillars.
