Asota caricae
Asota caricae (Fabricius, 1775), Erebidae, Aganainae, Aganaini. Orange moth, about 3cm in body length. Prominent black dots can be seen on its thorax, underwings, and abdomen. White lines run along its wings, and white spot on each wing can also be seen. This one seemed injured, but still kept on flying around the garage and the laundry area, even going inside an empty bird cage.
Backyard garden.
