4” long caterpillar, hairless, with a nobly tail.
Adjacent to a small stream. Altitude 1000m.
Finally, after a year, found the ID.
The tail is a common feature amongst hawk moths. I just can't find it though.Dave
I am cureious to know what it is. It has a strange tail and you call it "nobly tail." Interesting.
