(Meadow?) Fritillary

Melitaea sp (M. parthenoides ??)

Description:

Of some 5 cm in wingspan, this is a predominantly orange butterfly with white borders and black pattern on wings. I'm not absolutely sure about the ID, and I was thinking Meadow (M. parthenoides)...

Habitat:

Here seen on montane pastures, bordering mixed forest on lowland hills, in a valley between Jura mountain range and lake Geneva.
