Forster's Tern

Sterna forsteri

Description:

A small tern, they have a gray back and white underparts. The winter adult has black on the back of the head and around the eyes. The feet and bill are orange, and the bill has a black tip on it.

Habitat:

They are found throughout North and Central America and breeds inland. There were several terns diving for fish at the Laguna Madre.
