Medium sized black beetles with a yellowish-orange edge to the protonum. Mating pair. The female is on the bottom. Possibly Firefly mimics.
Sears Bellows County Park, New York. Wooded campground. Hiding on the underside of some grassy vegetation to stay out of the storm (wind and rain).
