This is a relatively small predatory bird, size of a sparrow, with brown back and ligthly-coloured frontal parts.
Here, observed in totally urban setting of Cox's Bazar, but in paddy fields close to beaches.
As most of it's cousins from the Lanius genus, it is also called Butcher bird,
