Variable Wisp ♀

Agriocnemis femina

Description:

Small damselfly, this one is a mature female, you can tell because it's mostly red. Check out this one of an immature Variable Wisp https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/88... tho I'm not exactly sure if it's an immature male or female.

Habitat:

Found resting on a shrub after a light rain. It is found from India, through South-east Asia to islands in the Pacific. Where it inhabits pools and stagnant water.

Notes:

This one is a mature female, they are red compared to male which would be darker and the thorax white and blue. https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/93547-A...
