Description:

Smaller moth with a bright, apple green thorax and patches on wings. Remainder of wings, abdomen and legs are brown. Thorax very furry. Photo #3 shows resting position when slightly disturbed. This is the freshest example of this species I have seen!

Habitat:

Temperate forest. Cedar Point County Park, NY.
