Spotless Ladybug

Cycloneda sanguinea

Spotted this Spotless Ladybug eating aphids in a dandelion plant while I was walking along the Oakland Estuary. This is a Cycloneda sanguinea because the Pronotum has a separate white "spot"--like two white eyes.

Oakland Estuary, Oakland, CA
