Common Glasscup - rood wasbekertje (dutch)

orbilia xanthostigma (O. alnea) ---- [or goup of ascomycetes]

Description:

0,5 - 1 mm orange/gold/yellow/orange-red discs.found on decaying wood in groups. i almost sat on them while takeing pictures of another fungi ! the biggst disc was almost something about 1,5 mm !

Habitat:

west-europe

Notes:

actuallty there are 2 different mushrooms to see. the actually spotting orbilia (red/orange) AND the grey/blue "mollisia cinerea" --> the little plates seems to be just old "orbilia" but i find they are to propper shaped to be just a decaying mushroom. the darker plates are completly round without any broke/decaying- marks and seem to be thicker. therefore i believe it is the common together with "orbilia alnea" found "mollisia cinerea".
