Black-capped Chickadee

Poecile atricapillus

Description:

The black-capped chickadee has a black cap, gray back, white cheek. Very similar to the Carolina chickadee. Female same as male.

Habitat:

This black-capped chickadee was spotted at our campsite feeder at Grayton Beach State Park, Santa Rosa, Florida. There are several of these chickadees at the feeder and love sunflower seeds. They throw other seeds on the ground. So cute.
